Len H. Kamdang has been an Assistant Federal Defender in the Eastern District of New York since 2007. During his time at the Federal Defenders he has represented clients on a wide range of offenses including serious terrorism cases, international and domestic narcotics offenses, and armed violent felonies. He is a skilled and experienced trial attorney who has dedicated his career to indigent defense. Prior to joining the Federal Defenders he worked as a staff attorney at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. He is a graduate of Georgetown University where he was the Volunteer and Public Service Center Student of the Year in 1998 and the University of Michigan Law School where he was an associate editor of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law. Prior to becoming a public defender he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lois Bloom in the Eastern District of New York.
