Michael Padden is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Suffolk University Law School. He has been a public defender in New York City his entire career. From 1978 to 1990, Mr. Padden was a trial attorney in Manhattan and Brooklyn with the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society. He joined the Brooklyn office of the Federal Defenders in 1990.
