Andrew is a trial attorney with a background in appellate and post-conviction practice. Before joining the Federal Defenders of New York, Andrew worked at the Center for Appellate Litigation and represented indigent criminal defendants from Manhattan and The Bronx on direct appeal and collateral attack. Andrew has also worked at the Federal Community Defender Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where he specialized in complex trial litigation, sentencing advocacy, and habeas challenges to recidivist sentencing enhancements. Andrew graduated from the University of Michigan's College of Literature, Science, and the Arts in 2010, and from Michigan Law School in 2014.
