Before joining Federal Defenders, Marisa Cabrera worked as a Supervising Attorney at the Center for Appellate Litigation and as a Staff Attorney at the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. Additionally, she clerked for the Hon. Joseph Zayas, Administrative Judge of the Supreme Court of New York, Queens County, Criminal Term. Marisa received her B.A. in Psychology from Williams College and her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, where she graduated cum laude.
