Michael Arthus has devoted his career to public defense at both the trial and appellate levels.  Prior to joining the Federal Defenders of New York, Mike worked as a Supervising Attorney at Appellate Advocates and as a Staff Attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services.  He graduated summa cum laude from New York University and cum laude from Harvard Law School.  While in law school, Mike was Notes Editor of the Harvard Law Review, Managing Editor of the Harvard Journal on Racial & Ethnic Justice, and a student attorney at the Criminal Justice Institute.
