Tracey L. Eadie Gaffey holds a B.A. in economics from the College of William and Mary and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Ms. Gaffey has been a public defender for 25 years. From 1987 to 1990, she worked as a trial attorney in Queens for the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society. She then joined the Trial Unit of the Federal Defenders, where she has represented clients in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
