I received an email from Skedda changing my client's register number or floor location – what is this about?

This is Federal Defenders correcting any mismatches in terms of register numbers or floor locations. If you booked a call on a floor your client is not on, there is a chance your call may be rescheduled or cancelled if there is no availability on the floor your client is on.  This can happen either because your client was moved since the last roster or because you mis-entered the booking floor.

Help! I received an email from Skedda indicating my call was cancelled or shortened – what's going on here?

You may have booked a call with your client on an incorrect floor/unit. If this is the case, we will try to move your request to the correct floor on the same day, but if this is not possible, your call will be canceled and you will have to rebook the call.

In rare cases, we may have to cancel calls if the number of calls exceeds MDC's capacity to place calls on that day.
